Meeting notes & action items
Turn an authorized transcript into a reviewed summary, decisions and trackable actions.
WHEN IT HELPS
Put it to work.
Follow up on a planning meeting without losing who agreed to do what—or inventing an owner that was never mentioned.
Before you begin
- A transcript or meeting notes, with participants informed and permission to store/process them.
- Workspace members available for any assignments you want to save.
WALK THROUGH IT
See the workflow, step by step.
Synthetic sample content, with simplified screens. No model call, upload, account change or paid task runs here.
Open Meetings & actions. Name the transcript, choose its project and paste or import the text. Confirm participant awareness and permission.
Use the transcript in a Meeting action items task. Ask for decisions, suggested actions and any owners/dates explicitly mentioned.
Under Reviewed action items, select the transcript, enter the action, choose an owner and optional due date. Save, then update Open/In progress/Done as work changes.
Meetings / Import a transcript
A REQUEST TO START WITH
Summarize the decisions and propose action items from this transcript. Use only stated owners and dates; leave missing ones unassigned. Cite the transcript.
THE USEFUL RESULT
What you should leave with.
A reviewed meeting recap and explicitly saved action items with owner, due date and status.
Know the boundaries.
- This web workflow imports transcripts. It does not join a call, schedule a meeting or record participants.
- AI suggestions do not create assignments automatically. Saving an item does not send an email or calendar invitation.
IF SOMETHING DOESN’T WORK
An expected owner is absent.
Check workspace membership. Leave the action unassigned until the correct member has access and you have confirmed the responsibility.
